I haven’t done a lot of painting work outside Hordes and Warmachine recently so it’s always nice to get back into the old GW stuff and blow off some steam painting Space Marines.  For those who are not aware, Librarium Online is holding a painting challenge called Camel-Aid for forum user Da Mighty Camel who doesn’t have the money to come to the annual Real Life meet-up at Warhammer World.  The gist of it is that we paint models and then ebay them and use the proceeds to fund a plane ticket for him all the way from Sweden to Nottingham.  The theme of this challenge is one Space Marine from each of the original 18 legions; it doesn’t have to be Pre-Heresy but that was probably the idea.  If you have a decent degree of painting skill and are willing to help a cool guy out, you should go over to the forum and take a look at the thread.  For those too lazy to go digging around for it, you can just click here to go straight there.

Also it gives me a decent excuse to show off some of my own painting work, so I’ll end this post on that note with some WIP pics of my Blood Angels Captain.  Come on people, every little bit counts!

Oh, RAWs for Shangri-la and Saki are out today so I’ll be talking about those later.
